  • Being from back east I'm used to finding places selling Christmas Trees all over town, every gas station, vacant lot, mall parking lot you name it. But not in AZ. Given the few choices, I went to Tim Mitchels on Scottsdale Road at the 101 which was closest to my house. Bring your wallet and ALL your credit cards. Prices here are ridiculous.....$250 easy for a run of the mill 6ft tree!?!?! Back east that same tree would be $30-50 everywhere. They charge $30-50 BY THE FOOT depending on the type you want. Crazzzzyyyyyyy. For the same price, rent a limo and have your family chauffeured up to Flagstaff, cut a tree down from any of the tree farms up there for 1/4 the cost, have a nice meal out, and return home. It'll be cheaper.
