  • Great way to spend an Afternoon in Old Montreal The museum wasn't even on our checklist for Montreal until a server at breakfast recommended it as a must see in old Montreal. Definitely a must see. It was the perfect place to spend an afternoon ( we could have stayed longer than we did ) after a morning walking tour. Start out by watching the video in the theater with headsets in 8 languages. Then tour, the audio guide is great. We couldn't see it all. However we learned much more history than we could asorb. Many children especially in the video and interactive basement where you can see real foundations having a great time. Take the elevator up to the tower for a nice hidden view of the old city old city. Don't miss this if you have any interest in a history of the city or quebec. Visited July 2016
