  • For some inexplicable reason we expected the Hilton to be clean and feel safe. Our room was filthy. The light fixtures had cobwebs, the window panes were filled with dirt and grime and the floor was *shiver* disgusting. The ceiling in the bathroom had it's very own science experiment growing in multiple colors of moldy goodness. Breakfast in the morning left us with stacks of dirty plates to pick from and a selection of less than special "eggs". The staff was polite but the germs were plentiful. Empty beer bottles and large mystery stains in the elevator made us wonder how anyone could think this hotel is family friendly. We're going back to our normal hotel chain and will not be back.
