  • Was so thrilled to be in Montreal for this tennis match especially when both Federer and Nadal were participating! Scored night tickets to Centre Court and saw Rafa beat a Croatian player in early rounds. Spent some time walking around the grounds and was really pleased by how well the vendors were organized and how welcoming everyone was. Spent some time in the Rogers tent and took advantage of their charging station as well as participated in some of the activities that they had set up for guests. I was able to try virtual reality glasses for the first time and really felt like I was at the tennis match. They also had an opportunity to take virtual photos with Canadian tennis stars. It was a shame that Milos, Canada's most famous tennis player was eliminated so early in the tournament that night. Lindt had a booth there and was handing out truffles, and both Peroni and Aperol were beverage sponsors. I had an Aperol spritz made with champagne and s splash of seltzer that was lovely. After the first center court match finished we watched Tsongas get defeated by Sam Querry.
