  • I want to like Hem's. Really, I do. The drinks are good, it's cheap, and great if you're a college student trying to get down (and by down, I mean drunk). However, a recent experience made me so furious that I never want to return and want everyone else to boycott the place. To make what could be a long story short...my friends and I ordered top-shelf vodka shots on a Saturday night and were served shots of water. I kid you not. And when we confronted the bartender (I think her name was Lynn), she was rude and dismissive about the whole thing. I just couldn't even believe it! Very disappointing.
