I went here for the first day of Restaurant Week and had one of the best meals I've had in Charlotte so far.
I love the decor of this place. It's really cute and modern. The chairs could've been more comfortable, but that's a minor complaint.
The heirloom tomato/watermelon/burrata salad was amazing. Very juicy delicious tomatoes. Next up was the filet mignon with some fingerling potatoes. My steak was cooked perfectly...it was seriously one of the best filets I've had in my life. Dessert was a triumph with the s'mores trifle. I love s'mores anything, so it was a big hit.
Cocktails aren't cheap, but they're great. The rosemary gin fizz was refreshing, with nice herbal notes that weren't overpoweringly woodsy. I had another vodka drink (can't recall its name), which was also delicious.
Our server was polite and attentive, and he was honest about his likes and dislikes there, which helped us choose cocktails and our dishes. I appreciated that.
We will be back for sure.
