  • Highly recommend David Bates (the Appliance Surgeon). Our 3 year old GE dishwasher stopped heating the water and wasn't cleaning well. We called an appliance repair company in Charlotte (in the "Plaza" area) and was told "dishwashers don't heat the water." When I tried to explain that ours had a "sanitize" function that did boost the water temperature, he still argued that it didn't heat the water. So I found the Appliance Surgeon. David came out the next day, diagnosed a faulty board and flood switch, ordered the parts, and fixed it like new. Water is back to high temp as before and dishes are clean again. Definitely will use him for any issues in the future.
