  • It's pretty average Thai. Because my boyfriend lives so close, the atmosphere is cute, and the restaurant is BYO, I want to love it more than I do. Each entree we've ordered has been...okay. We've had Z U noodles, pineapple fried rice, and pad thai. The one thing I may try out is the rad na... if we go back. I find myself comparing it to my Holy Trinity of Pittsburgh Thai (Nicky's, Noodlehead, and SBL) and in my opinion the dishes just never even come close. Thai Me Up doesn't seem to have the flavor and sometimes the dishes come out pretty dry. Couple this with the really rushed service, and to me it's just not worth it. *Sigh* the quest for amazing Thai in the Southside continues!
