  • I came from California and a father/son dentist practice. So, in needing to find a new dentist, I thought I'd give Canyon Modern Dentistry a try, being really close to home. After my first exam there, I ran away and never went back. After my exam, they wanted to give me some sort of deep cleaning treatment, so I asked if it was covered in my insurance. So they had to go check. When they came back with "no," they told me I'd have to schedule another time for the regular cleaning since another patient was waiting. What am I, chopped liver? I made an appointment for a cleaning and exam, and now I have to reschedule for the cleaning since I opted to not take your $250 cleaning? And by the way, the hygienist gave me a condescending attitude about it when I turned down her expensive treatment. I got the feeling that this dentist practice was big business and all about the money.
