  • I am extremely disappointed with my most recent experience. We hired Nick's Picks Thrift Store to help us move a few years ago and they were awesome. However, during our most recent move, we hired them to help load our uhaul to move out of state and our experience was much different. The crew was supposed to arrive promptly at 7:30 am, only to get a text message from the owner at 7:25 stating the the crew was "running 45 minutes late because of traffic". After expressing our disappointment & frustration, the owner admitted that they "couldn't get a hold of the crew that was scheduled, and we may not have anyone". After about an hour, she finds a crew that shows up two hours after our scheduled time. We expressed our frustrations once again and asked that they make it right by compensating in some way for the major inconvenience and complete lack of customer care. She stated "I cannot give you any type of discount because I need to be able to pay the crew". My husband I were appalled at the complete lack of customer service we received. The crew showed up letting us know that this was supposed to be their day off after working 8 days straight. The two guys worked hours in the heat and were great. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of professionalism this company showed to us. Not a phone call (only reached out via text message) without even giving us an "I'm sorry". Just not people we want to do business with again.
