  • We will make the drive to come here. I mean, any park surrounding Lone Mountain is my favorite. I really love this area. I love the view, the cleanliness, the openness, and elevation. It is a park which offers a bit of everything for everyone. You can picnic beneath a gazebo or on the grass, and did I mention the view?! Lol. The only thing I would complain about is the lighting at the playground, and that the playground itself can get a little boring in comparison to the other playground equipment nearby. There are NO SWINGS. As a parent to 4 boys, they dont notice or care. Though, i have met many parents who do. But I mean still...it does it's job. Basketball courts are nearby so in this household, it satisfies everyone's desire. There are two bathrooms one by the playground and one by the basketball courts. If there are parties/bbqs happening, parking can be pretty scarce. However, it isn't something to instill fear or to be deterred. Lol. Enjoy!
