RIDICULOUS! Had a service tech diagnosis a problem with a dryer, and was told the parts are typically readily available. I KNEW THAT. I've repaired over 50 dryers in my life time as I am a landlord, but I had absolutely NO time to tend to the problem myself and I wanted the job done quickly for my tenant's sake. Was told by the tech that he would get the order in right away and would try to get there in two days, but no guarantees. Was told "MONDAY" worst case if parts were available. Well . . . When THURSDAY rolled around I called the parts house myself and they said they had both parts needed. So I called ACE to find out what was going on . . . they could not even find my order and had to ask if they could call me back after they researched it. 20 minutes later I got a call and the receptionist told me they would be there TOMORROW. Felt bad for her because apparently someone was listening to her conversation with me and she quickly recanted and said they could not get there til Monday. I simply asked if that was the best they could do and she said "would you like to speak with ****, he's right here" I said sure. I very calmly told him I had done a good bit of this work myself and I wish I had added this one to my list because my tenants depend on me. I never even indicted them for losing the order or lying about the parts "just coming in" . . . and the next words out of his mouth were "I don't want to do business with you" and like a coward, he hung up. Been in the landlord biz all my life . . . this was the absolute WORST experience and most UNPROFESSIONAL response I have ever had.
