  • Well let me start off by saying my experience here was not good. It was especially bad because I had the most wonderful experience at a shop before this one. We arrived about 30 minutes early because my appointment at the previous shop ended early and my planner assured me this would not be a problem. As soon as we got there we had trouble getting into the building because my mother is in a wheelchair and we could not open/unlock the second door. It was raining so my MOH ran inside and asked for instance. They said it would take a minute (and it did take more than a minute). When they finally came to the door, they were a bit snarky and said it was easy to unlock (clearly it wasn't or we would have been quickly inside and dry). Once inside I noticed we were underdressed (is there a dress code for dress shopping?) All the other patrons had on dresses and heels along with their entourages while I was dressed for comfort. I don't know if that made us stand out as non-serious buyers (we were very serious) or what. But after talking about this with friends I heard the same things from them. I told the woman helping me my exact price range and exactly what I was looking for. She immediately ran to the racks and started pulling without asking me any additional questions so I figured there were plenty of dresses I would like. When we got to the room I noticed many of the dresses were out of my price range and not the styles I liked. She said I would get 10% off (still the dress would be out of my price range) and that the styles would look good on me or they would be fine. I tried on a few just to see and sure enough I was right. I didn't like them! I went out to show my family and they could tell how unhappy I was. There was one dress I really wanted to try and so did my family but the sales woman made me try on others before that one. I don't think they had the styles I liked there and I would have appreciated an honest statement from the sales woman helping me stating that. The whole environment in the store is cold and no one was very friendly. The sales woman didn't take into account what I wanted she seemed to push what she wanted me to like. I definitely didn't feel like a glowing bride-to-be or feel very special at all. Also, no photos allowed which is ridiculous. I would not recommend shopping for a bridal dress here.
