  • I have 2 cats and 2 dogs, and we recently switched to University Animal Hospital, and I am so happy I did! My last vet was never on time for appointments, and would rush in, vaccinate my pet, and was back out the door. UAH is the complete opposite. I have seen 3 different vets, and they all make me feel like my pet is their #1 priority. They listen and take time to answer questions, and I have never once felt rushed. I even get follow-up phone calls to check on my cat after a grooming session! More importantly, they saved my dog's leg! Last month I adopted a sweet dog who had been in an accident, fracturing her pelvis and femur. She had surgery at the shelter, but months later she was not using her leg. I called UAH the week I adopted her, and gave a brief explanation of my dog's condition. I was immediately put in contact with Dr. Flegenhiemer, UAH's orthopedic surgeon. He examined my dog, and helped explain the condition of her leg. We decided she needed another surgery, and he fit her in right away. The surgery was a bit of a long shot, but I am happy to say that she's using her leg and I can tell she feels great! I am so impressed with Dr. Flegenhiemer's efforts. It feels really great to know that our vet is invested in my dog's future and will be there for us if we ever have to make another difficult decision. I love University Animal Hospital! I can't say it enough! You will too!
