  • What's happened to this place? I've been living in the beach for 5 years and this is where I always went for local sushi. The last time I went I wasn't too impressed but thought I'd give it another try since I've had 20 + good experiences. Tonight I ordered the toro sushi and it was leather! I told the waitress it was awful. She came back with the bill with it still on the check so I said I'm surprised you left that on when I told you it was awful and couldn't eat the second piece. Her response was " the chef says its fresh" well this patron says it leather. Two strikes you're out ichiban. Is it new management or a new sushi chef? Not sure but there are a few other decent places in the beach that I will take my sushi craving to.
