  • This is a review of the hotel only and not the casino floor. Upon arriving the check in staff was very friendly and efficient. Within no time at all we were check in and given our room cards. We were on the second floor facing the Golden Nugget. Unfortunately our view of the Nuggett was not as good as hoped because we were looking down on a roof top full of air- conditioners, so we could only see about the top one third of the Nugget. Speaking of air-conditioning, holy frozen body parts Batman! They prepped our arrival to our room by turning the AC to high and setting the temp to 50, an awesome treat since it was 115 on the day we arrived. Had to turn that blast chiller to 60 and cut the blower to medium. The room was clean and had a terriffic smell, much like a tropical drink. The beds were well made, 2 pillows each and a round body prop for watching tv in bed. The beds were a medium firmness, just a little soft for my touch but I still got a good nights rest. The bathroom was stocked well with plent of towels, toilet paper, issues and the usual shampoo and bar soap. The shower had a nice big rain head and there were two body jets. I will have to say it took about 10 minutes to figure out how to work it all even with a sign telling you how. There was plenty of hot water and a blow dryer as well. Other things were an ironing board, Iron and a single brew coffee pot. There was also a flat screen tv and a nice size safe to store your valuables. A desk and chair rounds out the room. Over all I was very comfortable for the 5 days that I was there and the staff was very friendly. I will definately stay again as the rates were incredibly low at just $29 per night. Grade A Dayne
