  • We bought our very first brand new home with AW in March 2014. I felt we got ripped off after realizing 2 years later that our square footage model home who chose is 2927 sq ft but under our Clark county records, our house is showing it is only 2890 sq ft. So basically we paid for a 2927 sq ft house when it's only showing 2890 (about 40 sq ft smaller). I will do further investigation for something we have paid for but did not get. And like other comments, it was a nightmare dealing with the salesperson. Dave was our salesperson and he made promises that he would include things in the house and by the time closing came, he stated he never "said" any of the promises he made and that we would pay. Seriously!! And after we moved in, we had so much repairs we encountered for the past year of living there such as the stove vent kept making multiple buzz noise until now, walls are cracking, sprinklers leaking; I can go on and on and it's no wonder it only takes 90 days to build the house because they just rush and don't take their time building each house. All they care about is take your money and on to the next customers. I already told my husband, I'm ready to sell our house and find another one after they screwed us over. For our first house, this wasn't a pleasant experience. I gave 3 stars because we do love the location and still love the house we have chosen but I hope they did not screw us over the size of our square footage because I will file a lawsuit.
