First off I want to say you get what you pay for and these guys give you a great floor at a great price. Frank came out to my home and measured the area to be covered and gave me a quote on the spot, for the level of work to be performed he easily beat the competition but wasn't the cheapest either. I have a three car garage and had the light chip system installed. The process:
Day1
1. Diamond grind the floor (this is easily the best way and provides longevity of the floor vs acid etching)
2. Repair cracks, etc and primer coat to provide a base lay for the polyurethane color coat for day 2.
Day 2
1. Polyurethane color coat and chip flakes (or granitex) be sure you're able to be there for this so you get the look you want. I also suggest going with a color that's not too light as it shows the dirt more...
Day 3
1. Check coverage and apply clear coat polyurethane with or without anti slip aggregate. (if it gets wet, you'll want the anti-slip...
