I had really high hopes for this place because Emiliano's is soooo good. At first glance, it has a super trendy vibe. I can see it being a cool place to go for happy hour, but the food left me wanting something a little more. Our table got the mild gauc and chips as an appetizer. It was good, but nothing to write home about. The chips were a little too think for my taste, but they were still decent. For my main dish, I got the chicken torta. It was good, but there was something missing. I liked the combination of chicken, pork belly, cheese and avocado, but it wasn't as flavorful as I would have expected.
All in all, I was disappointed but I wouldn't be opposed to trying it again. Maybe they need to work out a few kinks. Every taco deserves a second chance!
