  • I love this market for three reasons: Seafood, Seafood, and Seafood. They carry rock crabs here like those Dad would buy me at Redondo Beach Pier. The oysters here are excellent and I have never had any problems; they are fresh. They sell clams here too and they are not too sandy, but always clean them. Half the time we buy fish which we ask to have deep fried; the only thing is they never add salt to it :(. I am able to find the large meaty squid in the frozen section for grilling and from time to time I will get the green mussels which are divine. The prices are competitive and it doesn't cost much to treat yourself to an amazing meal. The staff are attentive and helpful. The key to buying seafood is to signal your interest in purchasing to one of the attendants, they will gladly help once it's your turn. Regardless of where you live, this market should be on your list should you have a special meal to prepare.
