  • I couldn't have been happier with the experience my husband and I got at Wee Kirk a few weeks ago. I had no time to plan a wedding and Lynn took care of everything. The website is very easy to navigate and you can pick exactly the package you want and do everything online. I never had to call as I got all my questions answered via email within a day! So easy! I don't feel like anything was hidden as far as fees go like some of the other reviewers say. It was pretty straight forward as far as I'm concerned. Of course, you always need to read the fine print to see what will be extra and whatnot. If you're just looking for a simple wedding that you don't have to plan, then Wee Kirk is awesome. It was an adorable little chapel and not cheesy at all. We had a traditional civil ceremony and the minister was great. It seemed personal even though I'm sure he marries hundreds of people each year. The photographer was also very good. He gave us the option to take special photos if there was anything we wanted, which I thought was nice. The photos are an AMAZING deal if you ask me. You get so many candid photos (photos taken during the ceremony) depending on the package you choose and then you can purchase others at the end. They sell you the images on a picture CD with FULL photographer release so you own the images and can make as many copies as you want. This was the only chapel I saw that did this. We ended up ordering 21 extra pictures for around 300 dollars. Considering most wedding photographers will charge you at least a thousand bucks just to come to your wedding, I thought we got an amazing deal.
