I moved to Las Vegas to get my doctorate at UNLV in August of 2013. Sterling Park was fairly priced p so I thought I'd give it a shot. Luz, our leasing agent, was very nice although I felt rushed through the initial preview process. I signed a lease that day as I needed to move quickly from California. Luz was helpful and was able to g et us in and out of the office quickly. When I came to move in, Lluvia allowed me to take my time with the walkthrough. I haven't had a problem with the staff. We are always notified when something is being repaired in the building or something to that effect. There was one instance where the water was turned off in my building and I didn't know (it was an emergency), but when I called down to the office, they were professional and offered me the showers in the pool area if I needed them.
I like that you have freedom to decorate in your apartment here, so long as you put everything back. I haven't had to submit a service call yet, but when I see the service men around the complex they are very cordial. There is a problem with pests every once in a while, but they spray the complex weekly. I have a bottle of Raid I use when the occasional pest shows itself. I feel safe at Sterling Park and barring a rent increase that is too high, will probably live here for the duration of my doctoral program.
