  • I have been to the Whitby location 4 times, twice in the early afternoon on Saturdays in April, once mid-afternoon on a weekday in May and once early evening on a Saturday in late May. I really enjoyed the ice cream and the toppings. I had the Po-Reese Academy, the OMFG, and the Jekyll and Hyde (the last was not as good as the first two). The last time I went was after a dinner out, so, we went there specifically to end our evening out. The place was busy but there was no line. We walked up to order and were informed they were running a 45 minute wait... We left disappointed. There has to be a better way... Pouring soft serve in a cup and sprinkling toppings on it requires a 45 minute wait? They need to work on their production times, or, figure a way to make things more efficient. I would go regularly if I could rely on actually getting an order in a timely fashion. My wait times have been 30 minutes (which was unexpected), 20 minutes, 5 minutes, and finally an ETA of 45 minutes which scared us off. A shame really, I like the place, it's clean, well designed, and attractive for an ice cream parlour.
