This hotel would have been a 5 star except for a couple of issues. First, we loved the staff - they were fantastic and helpful in every way. The location of the hotel is good because it is central to anything you might want to do in Calgary.
This is a dog/pet friendly hotel. I love that. Except that:
-there were no places close by to take your dog to poo. - No grassy area near the hotel
-there was no information on where the closest dog friendly parks were located.
A couple of things we would have liked:
-there was only 1 chair, we had to get a second from the bar
-the desk, work space, was next to the air conditioner ( freezing) - easy to change
-the fridge does not have a freezer- some people need to freeze ice packs for insulin etc
-front desk should have a list of dog friendly parks and restaurants
Even with these criticisms, I would say this is a very good hotel.
