| - Took over a year for our son (C) to agree to a haircut. We love his long locks but thought it would be better short for his gymnastics, sitting in a car seat often and the heat of course. We've driven passed here many times but as he never wanted a haircut, they were always just in the back of our minds. The place looked so colorful and interesting, so today when he told us it's now or never, (he's 4 lol!) we yelped it and came right over.
He immediately got on the play set and we were greeted. There was a little one getting his haircut but Michelle came out and asked us of we had an appointment. She asked C what chair he'd like AND then... What he wanted to watch, anything he could think of. I was blown away. We don't watch TV at home so I jumped at the chance. Disney XD, Gravity Falls and in a second, it was on. He zoned into that show for the entire cut. Michelle was so nice to him, speaking to him, asking if he was good and how he liked everything, but he sat glued and silent, to the screen After everything was over, he picked out a hot wheels car (you pay for these, great marketing though ;) and we went to the register. She asked if she could give him a lollipop which I thought was so nice because he didn't even care at that point, getting to watch a show he loved and getting a car, but she made sure to ask. He has never liked getting his haircut, as I stated before, it took him forever to agree but in the car he was literally planning his next visit. "When my hair grows out, I will go back to cookie cutters." Like... How could you ask for more than THAT.
Getting his haircut was huge, we told our families and showed pictures of his cut and the location. They were also blown away. We will definitely be back.
