I was a little hesitant to try this restaurant after reading some of the negative (and strange) reviews but I'm so glad I did! The restaurant is beautiful and the patio is perfect with trees and little lights overhead. Two of us went for an early dinner and had two-for-one wines and a half-priced appetizer of sherried mushrooms before splitting the Valencia paella at the server's suggestion ("lots of people order an appetizer or two and then split a paella"). Along with the complimentary hot bread and garlic aioli, it was plenty of food for a very reasonable price. The paella was excellent.
If you read down the reviews, several people had sticker shock when they ordered the chef's special. Maybe because of those issues, the chef's special was listed on a separate menu handed to us with the price clearly listed at $45 per person. It includes a ton of food. But, the paella we split was $20 and with happy hour pricing on the drinks and appetizer, our total bill before tip was $58. Not bad. We'll definitely be back.
