  • Wanting to try something different, Hubs and I dined here while on a recent trip to The Desert. I must say this place was different...different indeed. We tried the following: Vancouver Island Kushi Oysters: oysters with Tabasco and Piquillo Pepper (Awesome! Must try as a starter) Chilled Gazpacho (It was okay) Wagyu Short Rib: Comes with fennel purée and turnips (Meat was tender. I now know I'm not a fan of fennel nor turnips) Oh yeah, I can't forget about the bread. They offer bread with bacon bits baked in it. It was really tasty. What a notion! Summary: I would visit again. The ambiance was incredible. Super swank and romantic. Service was impeccable.
