  • The best Mexican food I have had since L.A. This place makes authentic Mexican food. Those who don't like this place probably complain that it is lacking because it's not like Chipotle or other Americanized-pseudo-Mexican food chains. But that's why Maize is so delicious: it's not another Chipotle. The tacos and chips are freshly made. They don't taste stale. They taste like freshly ground corn, with a hint of lime and salt. The lettuce tastes fresh and crisp. The choice of protein is hearty and fulfilling. All the ingredients come together to create that delicious, authentic Mexican dish. From the burritos to the tacos - everything tastes amazing. Also, I love the portion sizes - they're not too filling. So when you come to eat here - please don't judge this place against Chipotle. This is an entirely new and different Mexican food experience. Also, the chips. They are freshly made and fried served with a sampling of different sauces. They are amazing! They're so addicting. And they're free when you order a minimum amount of food!
