  • Go see and be seen here! Who doesn't go to Woody's when you are on Church Street? This place is usually a must when you are in the 'hood. The space is very large, when you walk in, there is a bar right as you enter and then another bar off to your right as you enter. The top bar is sorta okay, people are much more orderly per se up here. The lower bar is more active. Lots and lots of guys to look at, and to look at you. So be careful not to trip going from the top bar to the lower bar, all eyes will be on you. There is a stage where there are shows, contests etc. so if you are into that, stay closer to the lowere bar to get a spot up at front. The place is rather big, so I recommend not staying in the same spot for long, or you might miss something 'hot' around the corner. Around the corner from the lower bar is a pool table area and another bar, and stairs down to the bathrooms. This is not a place to go if you want to dance. It's more of a meet friends, and check out the scenery type of place. The bartenders are pretty good, but things can get busy and so they might be as attentive as you would like. All in all, a decent place to start off the night!
