| - We were there on 8/13/2016 at 10 AM. We came in with our 2 kids and asked them to choose what they liked. While one of them showed us what he wanted, the other one saw that there are chocolate-dipped strawberries near the entrance. He went there to grab one to give us, as that was what he wanted to have. But then the lady who stood there making some chocolate saw him and was very unpleasant! She yelled at him to drop that, he's not allowed to touch it, and demanded that we show her which one exactly did he touch as she needs to throw it away. We apologized profusely, and he showed her which one he touched. We told her we're going to take it (meaning, buy it), and she said, "you can have if you pay for it". What an unpleasant person! My son felt horrible from the way she talked to him and tried very hard to hold back his tears. For us, it was the worst experience from our trip to Vegas.
BTW, the lady at the cashier witnessed everything and just offered a weak smile.
I hope the manager of the store reads this message and takes this as an opportunity to better educate the employees. Customers deserve to be treated with respect, yes, even and especially when they're little!
As a sidenote, it was the first time we walked into a Godiva store and weren't offered a sample. Even after buying about 15 truffles they didn't think of offering us (and of course we didn't ask, we were just surprised).
