  • Several minor things with my stay... 1. Lady at front desk said I just needed to show up for morning shuttle to airport. She asked the time of flight and said 6:40am would be the one to catch. I specifically thought asked if I needed to be put on the list.. She said "no, just come down". When I got downstairs this morning, the front desk called the shuttle and said they were running late to just hang out. 30 min late I asked the new shift staff... She called and said shuttle was on its way to the airport and I should have been on the list. I didn't take care of it in far enough in advance, so I would have been fine taking an Uber, but their staff is misinformed. Not sure who she even called this morning to say they were on their way. Rosa might need a little more training. I don't plan on staying here in the future, but please note .. If you need the airport shuttle, you MUST be on the list. 2. Also worth mentioning, they cannot tell you if your company auth for the hotel has been sent/or not. This didn't impact my rating much, because it's probably true of most hotels. It was ultimately my company who forgot to send the paperwork, but when I checked in... It would have been helpful if the front desk wouldn't have told me they only needed my card for incidentals. They implied they had all other info and ended up rolling pending room charges to my card the next day. Would have put a different card on file had I known there were issues. Locked up my card with a small credit limit because it was a large charge for the week. I understand that they cannot possibly tell ever guest of their company auth is complete, but they said everything is "all set", when it wasn't. They said they have a "stack" of authorizations in a binder, so there is no way to know in advance. If they have to reference that binder for charging, they *could* review it earlier/on day of check-in. In 2016, we should have more efficient processes... Just saying. 3. Room smelled a little funny 4. Not super quiet On the positive side, their food was pretty decent for hotel food!! Lady at the cafe was super sweet. In fact, everyone was super polite (even the misinformed staff). This did increase my rating. :) Hopefully, they can improve communication for other guests in the future. It wasn't horrible, just a minor annoyance. I left in plenty of time today and halfway expected things like this to come up.
