  • I went to Kierland Commons, Scottsdale, and bought my third variety of Teavana tea. When I brewed it at home and tasted for the first time it was horrible. I called back within 12 hours of purchasing and THEY DO NOT ALLOW YOU TO EXCHANGE IT. I drink tea every day; I am no novice. I bought CACAO MINT thinking that it would be perfect flavor for a day of ladies baking Christmas cookies. It was awful. It smells lovely and minty, but it reminds me of my grandfather's Irish whisky. (And not in a good way.) They would not brew me a sample at Kierland Commons in Scottsdale, or allow me to buy a cup. I had to try it on faith. I bought it last night. When I called the store today and kindly asked how I may return it, or exchange it, I was not allowed. It is a food product, the manager told me. She explained that I must have bad WATER. (I have never heard that one before...) Well, she may not like reverse osmosis H2O, but I assure you that I love it with my other teas and for regular drinking. Skip this horrible brew. Skip this store because of their non-return/exchange policy. P.S. We spent $95 there last night... it still mattered not.
