| - I would like to preceed by letting anyone reading this know that I have been working in the beauty/service industry a long time, and take pride in my salon's attention to customer service.
That being said, I went a couple times when I first moved to Brampton, and it was always busy when I stopped by the plaza, so I thought that was a good sign.
To be honest, wasn't anything special about my first couple visits, standard mani/pedi, and the massage was always pretty short and not hard enough even when asked for more pressure.
The staff tend to chit chat a lot with each other and didn't seem to want to talk to me when I tried chatting with any of my nail techs.
My final visit was really, to put it bluntly, down-right dangerous!
The nail tech doing my pedi decided to watch the movie playing on their tv, which is at the back of the salon. She was so interested in the movie that she clearly wasn't looking at any of her work while she continued to use sharp tools on my skin!
Eventually I started timing her to see how long it would take her to turn away from the tv. It was minutes!
I also had to remind her to use the scrapping tool for calluses.
Lastly, when she smudged the nail polish, instead of taking off the previous 2 coats, she tried to put another coat on! I had to politely ask her to remove it and please redo that one nail, which she clearly wasn't happy about judging from her sour facial expression.
That was my last appointment, because I work in the beauty/service industry too, and while I know sometimes it's tough, I can't even imagine treating my clients with such disregard.
