We've lived in Chandler 7 years and passed this restaurant a thousand times or more but never ventured in due to the word "sushi" in it's name. Neither of us like sushi. Well yesterday we went to the Otaku website to check it's menu and were pleasantly surprised to see a lot of Asian fusion items that looked and sounded interesting to both my wife and me.
Fast forward to now, we went to Otaku for dinner tonight and are going back next week for my birthday dinner. We loved the appetizers (jumbo chicken wings, gyoza, egg rolls and lettuce wraps)...loved our entrees of mongolian beef and Korean BBQ bowl and LOVED the desserts of creme brulee and chocolate lava cake! Everything we had we would order again.
The food was out of this world delicious and the service from Tyler was super friendly without being over- bearing. We rank Otaku as one of the top restaurants we've visited since moving here in 2011 and don't plan on passing it up from here on.
5-stars all around!
