  • So I am not in a good percentage of the demographic that frequents Lux, seeing as I am a Black corporate professional nearing forty. However, I frequent Lux because its truly one of the best coffeehouses in Phoenix. Reliable wifi, lots of seating (though good lord, good luck getting a seat during their busiest times), delicious pastries, drinks and foodstuffs. I like to swing by on a weeknight if I need to focus on a project due at the office or sometimes for mornings that I telecommute. Full bar, places to plug my laptop in and generally a nice busy, lively vibe. I will say that occasionally the evening music is either too loud or seems inappropriate. But maybe I'm just getting old and not used to hearing a full Method Man\Redman album played at a coffee shop... BTW, did I mention the mac and cheese w/ bacon is out of this world??
