| - I had a room that had a living area that closed off to the bedroom area. That sounds great right? Well, the bathroom was horrible, so it kinda made the entire place bad. It had a separate room with the bath tub and the toilet only, and it was tiny. I know when you stay in hotels the toilet paper is not great, but this was even worse than normal! It was like a half of single ply. Then the toilet seat was so close to the toilet paper roll that my leg touched it, so that makes it VERY hard for me to use. For us women having to wipe every time we go, the 1/2 ply TP and not being able to get it off the roll easily was a night mare. If I was a 5' tall woman it probably wouldn't have been so small, but I am 5'11", so it was VERY bad.
When we got in the room, found the key for the fridge was still in it (from the last people). They had taken a lot of things from the fridge, looks like the cleaning people aren't making sure to keep this up to date huh? I hope they don't try to charge me for what the other people used, but I have a feeling they have charged me, but I will know when I FINALLY get the bill emailed to me.
OH and I almost forgot. The AC sucked! We had to turn it down to 62 for it to feel comfortable, and it still felt like it was about 80 and 100% humidity. Phoenix has very low humidity, so they must have had a humidifier in there? It is April, so it was in the 70's outside. Why would it feel like it is 80 inside and 100% humidity (when outside was about 10%)?
Other than the bathroom and the AC it was OK, but not worth the $200 per night. I looked on my card, and they charged me $772 for 3 nights. I called, and right now I am waiting for the bill to be emailed to me. Not sure why it is so much yet. I figured with tax (they chard 12.57%!) it should total about $672, so once I get the bill I will know why they are charging me more then $100 more. I won't stay here next time I come to Phoenix, that is for sure. Maybe the other rooms are not this bad and I was just unlucky, but I am not willing to pay this much to find out. Especially if they are charging me for things I shouldn't be charged for.
