  • I came to Emerge Community Center for Rachel's astanga class a few weeks go and it was very lovely. The space was peaceful, inviting, and beautiful. The class was small, which left plenty of time for one on one adjustments by the instructor. I really enjoyed the traditional astanga class as it was challenging and fun at the same time. Rachel is a very authentic teacher with a good understanding of the astanga primary series, which was the basis of the class. She gave instruction for all levels and demonstrated modifications. I felt very welcome in her class and will definitely return for more.
