  • Let me just put it out there, I would definitely stay here again. Got a good deal tagging along with pals on a conference, and got upgraded for free to the one bedroom (vs studio) rooms. Quality of the furnishings and decor is what you expect for the price, which is to say very nice. I'd rank the Cosmo a step above the places in Vegas that I've liked (Sig@MGM, THEhotel). All the rooms come with microwaves/microfridges, and private terraces. The pluses: Free wifi throughout the resort, with ethernet cables in the rooms. They don't skimp on the bandwidth either, got 15+ Mbps both down *and* up - very nice, especially for those who might need to do remote access/vpn stuff for work. 15 Mbps symmetrical! Just saying. Second plus, location, location, location. Mid-strip, can't beat it. Third plus, a pool deck that overlooks the strip; definitely seen-and-be-seen territory. Fourth plus, yes, I too love the garage info screens/lights. Now the minuses: relatively small casino floor for you gambling types. Pool area, while the new hot thing, is more for lounging that actual swimming, and also is relatively small. Finally, if you are those rare Vegas birds that like to sleep, the music from the clubs is clearly audible even up at the 20th floor rooms. Request the highest floor possible in the West Tower if that pertains to you. So, I'm a fan, I mean, who wouldn't want to be Cosmopolitan (at least while in Vegas)?
