I used to love Costco but recently purchased a TV from them. We got a smoking deal and to make it even better the salesperson informed us that we would not need any additional warranty as anything that could possibly happen (including any possible damage not related to manufacturing faults) would be covered under costcos standard policy. This all allowed my wife and myself to be able to justify the price of the purchase.
Fast forward some time and we have an issue so we contact Costco, the Store AGM says there is nothing he can do and direct us to their concierge service. We contact them and they try to pawn our case off on Vizio warranty repair before notifying us that they won't do anything about our issue and after failing to return several scheduled calls they direct us to general customer service.
This whole experience has been full of inconsistencies on costcos part and to put it plain it has been terrible. Where I come from if you sell or make a business exchange with terms that aren't fulfilled then you have committed fraud.
Poor form Costco.
Edit (1/24/17)-
After dealing with the monstrosity that was concierge services I was able to get in touch with managers at this warehouse who were very helpful with assisting me in my situation.
