  • This place is just a nightmare every which way. If you're looking for enjoyable vacation, this is NOT the place. The sheets were stained and dirty. There was poor ventilation in the room. The television was fuzzy and the picture was out of focus. The pool was in the middle of the restaurant and my boyfriend was told he couldn't be by the pool unless he was going to order something. They charge for internet in the room. In fact, they will charge you for pretty much anything they can find. My friend was staying there the night before her wedding and had booked a suite. They said they didn't have any suites when she went to check in. THEN, had the audacity to charge her when she asked for five champagne glasses to be sent up for a toast. The glasses were borrowed glasses from the restaurant and they charged her $15 after not giving her the room she booked the night before her wedding. The atmosphere was extremely pretentious. The staff was rude and EXTREMELY incompetent. The front desk staff had no idea about local eateries, it was almost like they didn't care or weren't from Calgary. They talked to you like you were beneath them. We had issues with our bill and first, were charged for a day of parking when we never even HAD a car. And second, were overcharged for two nights and I'm still waiting for the email with the bill correction. Worst, worst, worst hotel experience.
