  • This place is just fun! I took my family of four and we really enjoyed ourselves. We did two races and of course I beat them both times. Everybody has to wear a helmet and neck brace. The helmets were pretty clean and the required head socks help keep the insides free of hair. The intro video mentioned gloves, but apparently people stole them so gloves are no longer available. The go karts are pretty zippy and they can adjust them for shorter drivers. The track has lots of turns which really makes you think how you are going to pass that person in front of you. You can spin your go kart out if you take a turn too fast, so you really need to be paying attention. The staff keeps an eye on the racers. Bumping other racers is prohibited and they take this seriously. The restroom facility was in the garage and pretty dirty. I think this is one area they could improve. We visited the track in December. Being an outdoor track, I wondered if it would be too cold, but a jacket kept me warm. I'm not sure what it would be like in the summer. I guess if you drive fast enough, you won't notice the heat. ;)
