It took them nine months to diagnose and schedule treatment for a very common out patient procedure. Nobody seems to know what's going on. A referral was "lost" at one point , causing a big delay. Things that were supposed to be forwarded to the specialist were never forwarded . Every step of the way was another authorization, another 2 -4 weeks of waiting .
I had to follow up constantly. The doctor even told me that I might be better off "faking" severe pain at the ER , so that I could get treated quicker. It took so long that my insurance coverage changed in December , and now I cannot afford the out of pocket cost for the procedure. I probably don't have a legal case , but I feel that they really let me down. I'm giving two stars instead of one , because they are nice people , who I think are just poorly trained.
