  • I'm a creature of habit, but decided to switch up my yoga before committing to another 30-40 class pass for Bikram at another studio. I'm still not sure how I feel, having only been to one class, but I'll describe as best I can. The parking situation is a little odd - you have to go down into the parking garage for the condo buildings. I had no issue finding parking but when I left there were people circling and stalking ppl to their cars. The exit to the elevator is dark and deserted and there's no cell phone service so doesn't exactly feel safe. The studio is nice and bright with high industrial type ceilings. The entrance is a shit show, as others have mentioned, with a small area for coats and shoes that gets pretty squishy. Cell phones are not allowed in the change room (understandable) and there is a basket for a small amount of personal stuff (keys, phone). There are no lockers at all. The change room is pretty tiny. There are two bathroom stalls and three showers. There's really nowhere to change if you want privacy so I actually chose to throw a sweater on and go home in my sweatyness. They need a way bigger change room to accommodate their clients. The yoga room is nice and big and they mop it after each class. There are markers on the floor for where your mat should be and I really liked that. I have had so many annoying experiences of someone putting their mat right in front of me and I can't see a thing. They also provide bricks, belts and a little circular sign that either welcomes or refuses hands on corrections. I do wish that there was more time to go into the room before class started. Five minutes in advance isn't very relaxing (at my other studio I usually go in 15 mins early). Since the room is being cleaned after each class, they have a lounge area with chairs and books to entertain yourself while you wait. They offer mats, towels and water jars to rent for $2. They have a water filter system, which is beside the faucets in the change room. I didn't find the room as hot as Bikram, or the poses as challenging, what I did like was the variety. For now, I don't think I will continue beyond my two month Groupon, but who knows. After all, I'm only one class in. 3.5*
