Beautiful inside and outside with a very relaxing patio, but it's clear that's where all the money went. Food was barely decent: I had the BLAT and the egg white was runny (undercooked) while the rest of the sandwich was just so-so. My mom's scramble lacked flavor or character. The self-serve water was clearly from the tap and tasted moldy. Coffee was not anything special, which is immediately a bad thing for a coffee house. Overall, an average person could have cooked a better meal given the ingredients available. Service was lackluster in a disaffected hipster way. The patio was in need of sweeping and table wiping (there was a cigarette butt on the table and another one under a separate table as well as other bits of trash, for example). I would totally eat out on their patio again, if I could bring my own food and drinks and a rag to wipe off the table beforehand and didn't need anything from the staff.
