I would recommend Horseback riding of the coin-operated variety before visiting this trail. I was given a tiny and depressed donkey for the trip. It was painful to watch horses kick and trip on immovable rocks, essentially stumbling for three hours. Mine took a nose-dive in the last 8th of a mile. It seemed humiliated being made to kick rocks and twist ankles every few steps while my feet bashed into its elbow things on its front legs.
