  • Being used to homemade Hungarian food will probably not endear one to Jonas' slightly-off dishes (I guess it's the complaint with any ethnic food - it's never like your mother's!), but for people wanting to experience an authentic Hungarian meal will not do better than Jonas - mainly because there is no alternative in Calgary! I jest: I would recommend it. The chicken paprikas is quite good; I don't normally use sour cream in that particular dish, but it works well. The portions were huge, but the seating is not: call ahead if you are in a group.
