  • I'm going to keep this short. I was invited to Meepleville by a friend at work. We are members of the unofficial nerd club in the office. She had been here a few times before and thought I might enjoy it. I've got to say, for somebody who hasn't had the opportunity to play many board games, I enjoye myself. I may have only been able to stay for about an hour and a half but in that time I learned a new game, Beyond Baker Street, and played four rounds. The guy running the front of the store recommended it to us and even sat down with us to teach us the rules during our first round of play. Great customer service. I can't say that I thoroughly enjoyed the game as much as I enjoyed just simply being there in this realm. It was fine but if I go back it will be to play another game. There are thousands to choose from so finding one wont be a problem. Until such time as I have more visits to Meepleville, a more detailed analysis will be pending. I can finish with this one critique, there was a smell of amonia in here. I don't know what that was all about but it was unpleasent until my nostrils grew accustomed to the aromatic assault.
