| - Ah-ma-zing. I'm actually hesitant to write a review about this place because I want to keep them and their awesomeness all to myself. But since Yelp helped me find this place, here we go.
There was a great weekend deal with early member advance reservation rates, so my fiancé and I stayed here for three nights for his birthday weekend. Our first impression was that the building itself was awesome, and valet service was very friendly. Front desk staff was even friendlier. Pro tip: Courtyard Marriott, at the time of this writing, was offering a 20% overall valet parking service discount for fuel efficient vehicles. In the beginning, staff didn't seem like they were aware of the offer on their website, but they were more than willing to look into it, and upheld the offer.
We were provided a room on the 3rd floor near one of the corners away from the elevator, and it was extremely quiet. Was very impressed with the unit; it was roomy and the bathroom interior was well kept and classy. No bathtub, but there was a lot of space in the shower. Housekeeping makes their rounds twice a day (really early in the morning), but front desk staff is happy to hand over extra toiletries, etc. if housekeeping doesn't get around to it in time.
As for amenities, pool is very shallow and the water is cold, but it's enough to go taking a dip in. The fitness center is one of the great pluses about this place. They have a full set of free weights, Gaiam Yoga supplies, several treadmills and elliptical machines. Each of the cardio equipment have mini TVs, along with a TV on a wall, so no fighting required for your choice of show. The fitness center is also open 24 hours, so that's a nice plus too.
We never got to eat at the Bistro (there are so many other options nearby), but the ambiance there is nice. Location is amazing and perfect by the hospitals, Case Western/CIM, all of the museums, etc. Definitely where we plan on staying at whenever we're in Cleveland.
tl;dr great service, great location, great amenities. Literally nothing to complain about, super happy with our stay.
