One of my favorite bar/restaurants we went to in Vegas. Sure it was touristy, but on my first visit to the city, HELL YES I WANT TO BE ON TOP OF THE STRATOSPHERE. IN A BAR THAT SPINS.
Surprisingly, for it being a Friday night and having an amazing happy hour (2 for 1 with decent liquor for $15 or less plus half off appetizers) they weren't very busy. The staff was more than willing to assist us with drink choices and delivered, along with our chosen appetizers quite quickly.
I went with the Saint Cucumber Mojito and it was delicious. Not too sweet with the refreshing, tanginess that I desired. I could have had SEVERAL.
For our appetizers we went with the hummus and lavash. The hummus was presented in a martini glass with lavash around and stuck in the top and it was almost too pretty to eat...almost. Luckily we were hungry and didn't have a problem dipping the crunchy, seedy lavash into the creamy, spicy hummus. One of the others in our party got the meatball sliders that were pretty decent as well.
Sure, it's a fairly generic spot but with a fantastic view and great happy hour specials, I have no problem suggesting this to Vegas visitors that have yet to experience the city from this height.
And if the deals don't sell you, the visitors "flying" by the window while sipping on your fancy cocktail is worth the cost of admission!
