| - My husband was admitted to Montecito about March 3, 2018.. All I can say is his treatment was better than wonderful. The nursing staff, the therapy staff, the housekeeping staff, and Kevin, the driver, all went above and beyond to help my husband.. There are so many people I want to thank.. among them, Glady, simply the best, calling my husband "honey bunny, lazy bones" to get him going each day.. and Joe and Shauna in therapy, along with Jeanie, TJ, Jaren, Nicole, plus many more in therapy. The nurses I remember were Nicole, Leslie, plus others, who were so good to take care of the thrush in my husband's mouth..and with administering his meds. The daytime nursing staff, Glady, plus Lisa, Angel??, Debby and so many others that I can't remember their names, were wonderful..and the nighttime staff, McKenzie and the crew were also the best, taking care of my wandering husband all night long. As my husband has advanced dementia, I know he was a handful..and no one ever complained to me...I was treated so royally by all...even tho, I know, I must have been a pain, as I am my husband's "mother bear" sole caregiver, and he can be stubborn at times... I can truly say Joe in therapy was the best, taking my husband to the little putting green, a highlight of his day. Shauna and her co-workers in therapy also were so understanding and extremely patient with my husband's slow learning.
I wish to thank all who helped my husband during his three week stay.
If I ever have the need to be in a skilled nursing facility, Montecito, with Glady, McKenzie, Joe, and Shauna will be my choice for sure.
I know I have forgotten many names of the wonderful employees who cared for my husband...and I am sorry. I thought I would never forget. So I also thank all who cared for my husband and apologize for omitting their names here..
